The reception featured Ambassador Sally-Anne Vincent and Australian Consul General Tony Huber. A wide range of invitees, including foreign representatives attended the event, which was also joined by members of the Australian Parliament.

As part of the Programme, Ambassador Vincent and Consul General Huber delivered remarks in line with the slogan “Forgotten Pacific: Save the Pacific, Save the World.” The officials pointed to the significance of the documentary’s message and emphasized that increasing awareness about the Pacific can also contribute to broader global impacts.

Carried forward under the slogan “Save the Pacific, Save the World” the initiative focuses on critical regional challenges, including rising sea levels and loss of biodiversity.
According to the project’s scope, Australia’s goals include strengthening its regional leadership and amplifying the Pacific’s voice in the fight against climate change.
