George Lombard Jr. and Spencer Jones provided speed and timely hits, while Austin Wells added an RBI double. Ben Rice drove in two runs, and Trent Grisham hit his 18th home run of the season.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. also played a key role, contributing with a bunt single and a two-run homer. Cody Bellinger returned to the lineup, collecting a hit and scoring a run.
Carlos Rodón allowed two runs over four innings, while the Yankees’ bullpen held Toronto to one run over the final five innings.
The Yankees have now won six of their last seven games and improved to 74-56, remaining three games behind the Rays in the division.
