Brant Schwartz – A 2011 middle school yearbook containing Jalen Brunson’s earliest known autograph is being auctioned, with bids expected to exceed $2,000.
Brunson signed the yearbook at age 14 while attending Twin Groves Middle School in Illinois, where he was already a standout basketball player. He wrote, “Jalen Brunson #13 (1 out of 1)” for a former teammate and classmate.
The owner decided to sell the yearbook after watching Brunson help lead the Knicks to their historic NBA Finals victory. The seller says the autograph is a unique reminder of Brunson’s early basketball days.
The online auction through Heritage Auctions ends Sunday, and collectors have shown strong interest in the rare piece of Brunson memorabilia.
