Ambassador Yıldız Holds Key Meetings with Turkic World Counterparts at the UN

New York, NY – In a series of pivotal discussions, Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the United Nations, engaged in extensive bilateral and multilateral talks with his Central Asian counterparts from Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.

Ambassador Yıldız first met with Ambassador Rakhmetullin, Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan. The dialogue covered a broad spectrum of issues, highlighting the solid partnership between the two nations and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation in various international forums.

Following this, Ambassador Yıldız convened with Ambassador Kasymalieva, the Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan. Their conversation focused on strengthening multilateral cooperation and reinforced the commitment of both nations to work collaboratively on shared interests within the global arena.

The series of meetings concluded with a discussion with Ambassador Ataeva, Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan. This meeting aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and deepening mutual understanding on multilateral cooperation within the UN framework.

The new representative’s push for engagement with Turkic states came after a meeting with the Swiss representative.
